Happy Turkey Day!

This year, more than ever, we have so much to be thankful for.

  • Our family - some far and some near, all are very dear in our hearts
  • Our friends, new and old, who have been such a support to us
  • Our church family and faith, both of which have grown this year
  • Our home and community and the comforts we enjoy
  • Our jobs and working for a company for which we can be proud
  • Our country, and the freedoms and opportunities it offers
  • Annabel's birth family who are never far from our thoughts
  • And the biggest blessing in our lives, our sweet Annabel.

Hey Karen,

My dad passed on your blog shortly after Annabel's birth and I've enjoyed keeping up with you guys through your posts over these last 9+ months. Annabel is precious and I know you are all enjoying every day with her! Believe me, the time will fly by and the next thing you know you'll blink and she'll be walking down the aisle!

I've thought about you and all the Brooks/Moores today as my family enjoyed a day in Granbury at my Dad's with the added fun of Jackie joining us. It would be great to have a family reunion sometime and get to see everyone again.

Happy belated Thanksgiving! And keep the posts coming!
