It's almost Fall

It's beautiful here - in the 60s - 70s and sunny.  The girls hit two playgrounds on Friday with different groups of friends.

A year ago I would have been freaking out at Caroline's daring maneuver.

Annabel went to Marin's dentist on Friday for the first time.  I swear that that's what they're talking about.

First ballet class!

Annabel started a new ballet class this week.  She loved it!

First day of school

The girls moved to a new daycare after July 4.  To ease in the transition, we called it "Summer Camp."   And right after vacation on September 6, they started their new school year, so now they go to "School" three days a week. They're happy there and are learning all sorts of new songs, new games, and sign language and making new friends.

Outer Banks

Take that Hurricane Irene!  

We got a late start to our vacation, but Irene couldn't keep us from having a great time.  The weather was beautiful, the house was fantastic, and the water was nice and warm.  Most of all, the company was the best!  

Both of the girls loved the beach - Annabel more the water, and Caroline more the sand.
