2011 Starts with a Bang!

To the back of Caroline's head, that is!  But a ride in the ambulance and five staples later, she's back to her daredevil self.  Scott had money on Annabel being the first in the ER for a head injury, but I was pretty sure it would be our mischievous imp.

(I wanted to get a picture of her on the gurney as she was being wheeled in, but I didn't think the EMTs or ER staff would think much of me memorializing my child's traumatic moment, so I waited until she was happy.)

The first officer on the bloody scene remembered being here last Christmas Day for my thumb mutilation by mandolin.   He told us that we should be sure to be careful next Thanksgiving, as he's scheduled to be off.
